AS Propane
Balloon rental and purchase
In order to use LPG, the customer needs to buy or rent a cylinder. By purchasing a cylinder, it becomes the property of the customer. The seller of the gas and the cylinder is under no obligation to repurchase the cylinder. AS Propaan practices the buy-back of used cylinders at a price below the purchase price of the cylinder. We also offer the possibility of renting cylinders for short or long periods. For more information on the buy-back and rental of cylinders, please contact the sales department.
Balloon exchange rules
As Propaan’s sales offices and resale points will only accept cylinders that meet our quality standards and bear the Pii mark.
Cylinders will only be exchanged for cylinders of the same volume. If there is a need to exchange for a cylinder with a different capacity, please contact the sales department.
Damage to which cylinders are not accepted
- Absence of a Pi sign
- Damaged body metal (severe nicks, visible dents or dents).
- Corroded casing (heavily rusted)
- Fire damage (soot, burnt paint)
- Angle valve with external mechanical damage (crushed or missing handle)
Quick coupling of the reducer
- 1.The regulator is designed for use at temperatures between +30°C and 20°C. When installing the regulator, proceed as follows (see also figure);
- 2.Close the regulator - to do this, turn the key on top of the regulator to the OFF position;
- 3.Grasp the regulator with both hands, lifting the locking ring to the top position and push the regulator onto the cylinder valve;
- 4.Release the locking ring by pushing the regulator onto the cylinder and firmly press the locking ring to the bottom position;
- 5.To check the connection, lift the cylinder from the regulator. Reconnect the regulator if it separates from the cylinder;
- 6.To set the regulator to the operating position, turn the key on top of the regulator to the ON position (i.e. in the same direction as the hose connecting to the unit). After use, always turn the key to the OFF position.
- 7.To remove the regulator from the cylinder, turn the key to the OFF position, then lift up the locking ring and remove the regulator from the cylinder valve;
- 8.When connecting the LPG hose to the regulator, push the hose to the end of the regulator nozzle and secure it with a clamp.
Threaded reducer connection
- 1.When using balloon gas, make sure the equipment is in good working order.
- 2.Before installing the regulator, make sure that the seal between the regulator and the angle valve is in good condition.
- 3.A reducer is mounted on the angle valve cylinder by turning the fixing nut on the valve in the opposite direction to the movement of the clock pointer.
- 4.Open the cylinder valve and check the sealing of the connection points with a soap wax.
